Xiaomi has launched a new electric toothbrush under the Mijia brand. This new model, called the Mijia Servo-Sonic Electric Toothbrush Pro, is attracting attention with its features and long battery life. Priced at $38 in China, it promises up to 180 days of use on a single charge.
Xiaomi Announces New Electric Toothbrush
The brush features a smooth, UV-coated ceramic-like body. A metallic frame surrounds the display. Available in purple, blue, and white, the device is IPX8 waterproof.
The brush’s motor mimics Xiaomi’s bass brushing technique with 60-degree oscillations. This movement increases the cleaning area up to three times that of previous models. It also provides precise, zone-based cleaning thanks to a six-axis gyroscope that detects tooth surfaces.
The toothbrush’s color LCD display displays real-time information such as brushing time, coverage area, and plaque detection status. The smart pressure sensor illuminates a red warning light when too much pressure is applied, vibrates to alert the user, and automatically reduces the force to protect gums.
The brush comes with two different heads designed for plaque removal and gum care. The bristles of these heads have a color-fading feature that indicates when they need to be replaced. The device’s power and motion settings can be personalized via the Mijia app.
The app also provides comprehensive brushing reports. The brush charges via the USB-C port and offers a battery life of up to 180 days in gentle mode and 100 days in standard mode.
